Northrop & Johnson’s European offices are seeking ambitious and experienced full-time Sales Brokers to join our team. Northrop & Johnson provides exceptional resources to its sales brokers and emphasizes print and online marketing. Northrop & Johnson has a state-of-the-art website, industry-leading intelligence tools, in-house marketing team, and consistent boat show participation.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-standing relationships with yacht owners and prospective buyers
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with ultra-high net worth individuals
- Participate in boat shows
- Continue to provide after-sales support for sales buyers and owners
- Work independently, while also collaborating with brokers in our firm, both domestic and internationally
- Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the superyacht market and sales of large yachts
- In-depth knowledge of the industry, rules, regulations, standard business practices and ethics
- In-depth knowledge of design and construction as well as the legal, technical, financial and operational aspects of large yachts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work well with others and to contribute to a team environment
- Two-plus years of experience as a sales broker with an established client base
- Strong communication, organizational and entrepreneurial skills
