Built in 1961 by J.A. Silver in Rosneath, Scotland, and designed by John Bain, she is part of the Ormidale class. After an impeccable four-year restoration by Gardner Marine completed in 2023, SILVER LASS has been transformed with modern technology, a solid teak interior and rebuilt Gardner 6LW engines with new ZF hydraulic gearboxes. Her hull is cladded with full copper sheathing under the waterline, showcasing her superior quality. On the port side, you’ll find a handmade swim ladder, while the starboard side provides easy access for tenders and features a boarding ladder. The original classic davits are still in place, ensuring the safe launch and storage of the 3m tender. The forward wheelhouse offers a covered seating area with a concealed deck fridge and is equipped with top-of-the-line Sonance all-weather speakers for exceptional music quality. An awning with lighting can be added for shade, and Sunbrella covers protect all deck furniture and hatches when not in use.
The covered wheelhouse, fitted with brand-new Simrad navigational equipment, serves as the central control point. The foredeck, adorned with classic teak hatches, provides ample space for relaxation, with sunbeds on the coach roof offering the ideal spot to bask in the sun.
